About Holy Trinity Abbey Church
Holy Trinity Abbey Church was built around 1230. The church is built of squared limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a two-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
History
The surviving medieval fabric was restored in 1811 and again in 1852–53. The 1852 work for Lord Dunraven repaired and expanded the former cloister area, and architect Charles Hardwick added the convent and chapel porch.
