About Drummully St Mary
Drummully St Mary dates from 1844 and is built in the Gothic Revival style. It has a three-bay nave, built of squared stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, buttressed walls and lancet windows. The church stands in its own graveyard.
The building
The Church of Ireland structure comprises a three-bay nave and shallow single-bay chancel, flanked by a porch and vestry. It features snecked squared stone walls with dressed sandstone quoins and shouldered buttresses. The interior retains original timber king-post trusses, pews, and a marble baptismal font. A gabled bell-cote with an integral chimneystack sits on the south-west elevation.
