About Drumlease (Dromahair)
Drumlease (Dromahair) was built in 1806. It has a three-bay nave and pebbledashed walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, pinnacles and window tracery.
History
The Church of Ireland church in Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, was originally built in 1806 and rebuilt in 1816 using a loan from the Board of First Fruits. The site is bounded by a rubble limestone wall with dressed gate piers and contains grave markers ranging from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. A date plaque is located above the timber battened double door to the tower.
