About Collon
Collon dates from 1813. The church is built of ashlar limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and crenellated parapets.
History
The church was designed by its incumbent, Daniel Augustus Beaufort, with the chapel at King's College, Cambridge cited as a strong influence. Earlier grave markers survive in the adjoining cemetery, including one dated 1808, predating the present church.
