About Church of St John the Apostle
Church of St John the Apostle is a Catholic church at Knocknacarra, Co. Galway, in the Knocknacarra parish of the Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora. Sunday Mass is at 9:30am, with the Saturday vigil at 9:30am. Built in 1991–92 as part of Salthill parish, the church became a parish in its own right in 1995. Architect Conor Kelly of Simon J. Kelly & Partners designed it; the builder was Michael Fitzgerald & Sons. The cost was £600,000.
