About Cathedral of the Annunciation and Saint Nathy, Ballaghadrreenn
Cathedral of the Annunciation and Saint Nathy, Ballaghadrreenn was built in 1855. It has an eight-bay nave, built of squared sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage tower with a spire, stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
History
The cathedral received a spire, a new sacristy and bells for the tower in 1912. Hatfield and Goldie designed the original building, while W. H. Byrne was responsible for additional work in 1912.
