About All Saints Church, Newtown
All Saints Church, Newtown was built in 1836. It has a two-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and window tracery.
The building
A 1985 reordering introduced timber pews, carved timber stations, a replacement false ceiling and decorative Gothic plasterwork in the chancel. The main doorway is a shallow segmental-headed opening set within a pointed-arch frame and cut-limestone surround.
