About Trim St Patrick
Trim St Patrick is a Church of Ireland church in Trim, County Meath. It is in the Diocese of Meath & Kildare.
History
The present church was built in 1803, replacing an earlier building that dated from the fifteenth century. It stands in the town of Trim, 25 miles north-east of Dublin.
St Patrick's is the diocesan cathedral of Meath. The dioceses of Meath and Kildare were united in 1976, and the cathedral churches of St Patrick, Trim and St Brigid, Kildare together serve the united diocese.
