About St. Stephen, Tyrrellspass
St. Stephen, Tyrrellspass was built around 1858. The church has pebbledashed walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and mosaic work.
Notable people
A grave in the associated churchyard contains the remains of James J. Daly, a Tyrrellspass-born Connaught Rangers private who was executed in India in 1920 following a mutiny by Irish soldiers. His remains were returned from India to Tyrrellspass in 1970.
