About St. Michael the Archangel, Analeentha
St. Michael the Archangel, Analeentha dates from 1843. It has a T-shaped plan with a two-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and mosaic work.
Notable features
The nave and transepts retain Y-traceried double-lancet timber sliding-sash windows. Inside, the altar wall is framed by a moulded cornice and fluted pilasters with ornate capitals and plinths, with the central wall treatment incorporating round-headed windows in splayed embrasures.
