About St Conal’s, Doochary
St Conal’s, Doochary was built in 1833. It has a five-bay nave and rendered walls under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows.
The building
The sacristy has Tudor-arched windows and the porch a trefoil-headed window. The porch doorway is shouldered, with a rendered surround and double-leaf timber-battened door; the site boundary combines painted rendered granite rubble and concrete blockwork with metal railing.
