About St. Clare's, Manorhamilton
St. Clare's, Manorhamilton was built around 1885. It has a five-bay nave, built of limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a four-stage bell tower and buttressed walls.
History
William Hague designed the church. Rock-faced masonry with decorative stone detailing, together with stained-glass windows and timber doors that form part of the surviving late nineteenth-century fabric.
