About St. Carthage, Brosna
St. Carthage, Brosna was built between 1860 and 1870 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan with a four-bay nave, built of squared sandstone under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a bellcote, an internal gallery and a marble altar. It was designed by George Ashlin.
