About St. Canice

St. Canice is a Roman Catholic parish church in Finglas, Co. Dublin. It is part of the Dublin Archdiocese.

History

The church was built between 1920 and 1922 and was opened by Archbishop Walsh. It replaced the old Barn Church, which had served Finglas village for many years.

The parish of The Annunciation, Finglas West, was constituted from St Canice's in 1962.
