About St. Brigid
St. Brigid dates from 1836. It has a three-bay nave under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and a marble altar.
Notable features
The interior contains a baptismal font allegedly reclaimed from the medieval Tully Church. Stained glass memorial windows were supplied in 1954 by Harry Clarke Stained Glass Studios of Dublin. An exposed timber roof is attributed to George Coppinger Ashlin. A stoup serves as a war memorial for Second Lieutenant Archibald Hugh O'Farrell and Sir Edward O'Farrell KCB.
