About St Asicus' Church, Frenchpark
St Asicus' Church, Frenchpark was built around 1815. It has a cruciform plan and pebbledashed walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls.
The building
A projecting entrance was added in 1889. The church also has porches to the transepts, a projecting sacristy to the rear and limestone-dressed quoins, window surrounds and some door surrounds.
