About St. Anne
St. Anne was built between 1931 and 1933. It has a seven-bay nave, built of squared granite under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained glass including a rose window and an internal gallery.
History
Ashlin and Coleman prepared the designs in 1930–31. The church was extended in 1971, producing the present composition; this work coincided with Shankill becoming a parish separate from Ballybrack.
