Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune was built around 1880. The church is built of squared sandstone. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
Notable features
The interior contains a carved marble reredos and altar table and a pointed-arched arcade dividing the aisles. Other details include a carved limestone statue beneath a gabled canopy and doors fitted with decorative wrought-iron hinges.
