Moira Baptist Church is a Baptist church in Moira, County Down, a member of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland.
History
Moira Baptist Church grew out of a Baptist Missions church-planting effort in the village in 1986, which included a tent mission in Moira Demesne. The first meetings were held in homes, and a portable hall was later erected on the site of the present church.
Foundations for the church building were laid around 1993. The back hall was in use before the main building was completed in 1997, and a hall extension was added afterwards. The communion table and the pulpit were made by Ernie Condy, who worked on most of the woodwork in the building.
