About Kilrossanty (Comeragh)
Kilrossanty (Comeragh) was built in 1808. The church has rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, crenellated parapets and pinnacles.
The building
This Church of Ireland structure conforms to a standard Board of First Fruits plan. It features a double-height nave, a shallow bowed apse, and a three-stage entrance tower with battlemented parapets and corner pinnacles. Renovations in 1871 added a vestry and lancet windows with stained glass. The site includes a c.1810 gateway and grave markers dating from c.1810 to c.1910.
