About Killinagh (Blacklion)
Killinagh (Blacklion) was built around 1860 in the Gothic Revival style. The church has a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and buttressed walls. It was designed by Joseph Welland.
History
The church replaced an earlier church at Largy to the west. A Board of First Fruits contribution supported the new building, and stone is said to have been brought from the old church for reuse.
