About Killadeas Priory Church

Killadeas Priory Church is a Church of Ireland church in Killadeas Priory, County Fermanagh. It is one of the churches in the parish of Trory St Michael, in the Diocese of Clogher.

History

The present church dates from the 1880s. It stands on a monastic site which the parish describes as dating back well over 1,000 years, associated with Culdee monks. The parish dedicated a hall at the rear of the church in 2010.

Notable features

The grounds contain more than one historic stone marker, among them a cross slab standing in the churchyard, which the parish takes as a sign of the site's Culdee monastic origin.
