About Kill (Kill O' The Grange)
Kill (Kill O' The Grange) was built between 1863 and 1864. It has a four-bay nave, built of squared granite. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained glass including a rose window, an internal gallery and lancet windows.
The building
Designed by William John Welland and William Gillespie, the church was consecrated in 1864. It features a rock-faced granite exterior with a three-stage tower and lancet windows. The interior contains a 1907 pipe organ by Peter Conacher and Company, a 1891 Caen stone pulpit, and an 1898 timber panelled wainscoting. A stained glass East Window was supplied by An Túr Gloine in 1931.
