Drumcliffe St Columba was built in 1809. It has a three-bay nave, built of rubble stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, an internal gallery, pinnacles and window tracery. The church stands in its own graveyard.
Notable features
The Church of Ireland building features a three-stage tower with octagonal buttresses and pinnacles, alongside pointed-arch windows with Y-tracery. An inscription on a buttress dates to 1811 under Rev. Richard Wynne. The graveyard contains the grave of W. B. Yeats, inscribed with his final poem. Internal renovations around 1999 exposed stone walling and installed a wrap-around balcony.
