About Crecora Church (Peter & Paul)
Crecora Church (Peter & Paul) was built in 1864. It has a single-cell plan with a five-bay nave, built of squared limestone under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows, a bellcote and an internal gallery.
Notable features
The interior has an upper cruck arch-braced timber roof and a pointed cut-limestone arch at the altar, with a timber gallery at the rear. The front entrance has double cast-iron gates between octagonal piers carrying trefoil motifs and pointed caps.
