About Coleraine St Andrew (Ballysally)
Coleraine St Andrew (Ballysally) is a Church of Ireland church in Coleraine, County Derry. It is one of the churches in the parish of Coleraine St Patrick, in the Diocese of Connor.
History
St Andrew's began with a decision in 1976 to purchase a portakabin and place it in Ballysally. People met there one night a week at first, and in time a Sunday fellowship and a Sunday School were established and the congregation began to outgrow it. In 1979 it was agreed to build a church on the site, and St Andrew's was consecrated in 1981 as a church plant of St Patrick's, Coleraine.
