About Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles
Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles was built around 1904 in the Hiberno-Romanesque style. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include an internal gallery, a marble altar and an open timber roof. It was designed by Edward Toye.
