About Church of The Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough
Church of The Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough was built in 1894. It has a cruciform plan and pebbledashed walls under a pitched tiled roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows.
Notable features
The entrances include pointed and square-headed doorways with timber doors, tooled surrounds and limestone steps. A cast-iron bell dated 1928 stands on the site, which also contains a grotto dating from 2000 and graves to the east of the church.
