About Church of the Assumption, Kentstown
Church of the Assumption, Kentstown was built around 1844. The church is built of stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bellcote, pinnacles and buttressed walls.
Notable features
The entrance front contains three Tudor-arched doorways below a traceried pointed-arched window with hood and label mouldings. The site entrance has ashlar limestone gate piers, cast-iron railings and double gates, with the graveyard lying to the east.
