About Church of St Brigid
Church of St Brigid is a Catholic church at Liscannor, Co. Clare, in the Liscannor/Moymore parish of the Diocese of Galway, Kilmacduagh and Kilfenora. Sunday Mass is at 6:30pm. When the old church became unsafe in 1856, Fr Edmund Power arranged for its demolition so that rebuilding could begin. The site and stone came from Mr O’Brien, M.P., who also gave a large donation. The new church, completed in 1858, was a simple rectangular structure costing £500. Fr T.
