About Church of St Joseph, Miltown Malbay
Church of St Joseph, Miltown Malbay was built in 1839. It has a cruciform plan, built of rubble stone under a pitched artificial slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a broach spire, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and pinnacles. The tower was added in 1861.
