About Church of Our Lady of The Nativity
Church of Our Lady of The Nativity was built between 1800 and 1837. It has a simple single-cell form and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include stained-glass windows.
The building
The detached single-cell structure features a rectangular plan with a south-west gabled porch and rendered battered walls. It has a pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles and cut-granite coping. The interior includes an exposed Queen Post timber roof, tessellated glazed terracotta tiles, and stained glass windows dated 1936. Renovations in 1899 and 1966 altered the sanctuary and reordered the space.
