About Cathedral of the Assumption

Cathedral of the Assumption was built between 1827 and 1831. It has a cruciform plan with a five-bay nave, built of ashlar limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and carved Stations of the Cross.
