About Cashel
Cashel was built in 1847. It has a five-bay nave, built of squared sandstone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bellcote and buttressed walls.
History
Designed by Henry Jones Underwood for the Board of Ecclesiastical Commissioners, this Church of Ireland chapel of ease was built in 1847. The interior contains a font dated 1684, which may predate the current structure. The bellcote to the southwest is dated 1882.
