About Tralee Baptist Church
Tralee Baptist Church is a Baptist church in Tralee, County Kerry, a member of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland.
History
The congregation traces its beginnings to missionaries who arrived in Tralee in April 1975, with further workers joining the church planting team through the late 1970s and 1980s. The group was known first as Tralee Bible Fellowship and then as Tralee Bible Church. It met at first in a rented bungalow in Ballinorig, and from 1991 at 53 Ashe Street. Tralee Bible Church enrolled its first official members in 1999.
The church was accepted into membership of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland in 2010, and later the same year the congregation voted to change its name to Tralee Baptist Church.
