About St Stephen and St John, Castleisland

St Stephen and St John, Castleisland was built between 1875 and 1885 in the Gothic Revival style. It has a cruciform plan with a five-bay nave, built of ashlar limestone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a broach spire, an internal gallery, mosaic work and window tracery.
