About St Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue
St Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue was built in 1837. It has a cruciform plan with a three-bay nave and rendered walls. Notable features include a three-stage tower with a hexagonal spire, stained-glass windows, an internal gallery and crenellated parapets.
