About St. Lachteen’s Church, Stuake
St. Lachteen’s Church, Stuake was built in 1999. It has a simple single-cell form and rendered walls under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower and stained-glass windows.
History
The church reuses stained glass from the earlier building that occupied the site. Its design belongs to the post-Vatican II period, when church planning was being reinterpreted; full-height glazed panels at the end gables.
