About Saint Patrick
Saint Patrick is a Roman Catholic parish church in Keady, Co. Armagh. It is part of the Armagh Archdiocese.
History
The parish traces its origins to a church founded by St Mochua at Derrynoose around 630 AD, and the ruins of that church stand near a holy well that bears his name.
The church at Keady was built in 1860 and was extended and extensively renovated in 1989. The parish describes it as one of the largest churches in the Archdiocese of Armagh in terms of seating capacity.
