About Bessbrook Friends Meeting House
Bessbrook Meeting House stands on the Deramore Road on the outskirts of the village, adjacent to Bessbrook Mill and surrounded by National Trust woodlands. Meeting for Worship takes place every Sunday at 11.15 am. The Meeting House was provided by the Quaker Richardson family, who built Bessbrook as a model village for their linen mill workers in the mid-1800s.
