About Mount Merrion St Thomas
Mount Merrion St Thomas is a Church of Ireland church in Mount Merrion, County Dublin. It is one of the churches in the parish of Booterstown St Philip & James, in the Diocese of Dublin & Glendalough.
History
St Thomas' Church was dedicated in 1874 as a chapel of ease to the parish of Taney. It became the parish church of the newly created parish of Mount Merrion in 1956.
In 1994 Mount Merrion and Booterstown were made a grouped parish, retaining separate administrative and financial responsibilities while sharing a single rector.
