About Kilfennan Presbyterian Church
Kilfennan Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland in Londonderry, County Derry.
History
The congregation's own history records that from 1969 its membership declined as families moved across the river to the Waterside. A proposal to move the congregation to the Waterside was first raised in 1976 and was initially rejected by Presbytery, but the move went ahead after further discussion. The building was opened on 11 September 1982, and the congregation took the name Kilfennan Presbyterian Church.
