About Convoy St Ninian
Convoy St Ninian was built between 1821 and 1824. It has a three-bay nave, built of squared stone under a pitched slate roof. Notable features include a bell tower, stained-glass windows, window tracery and buttressed walls.
The building
The vestry has a pointed-arch doorway with a chamfered ashlar-sandstone surround. Inside are carved timber pews, reredos, altar rails and pulpit, together with a carved stone font and a moulded pointed chancel arch; the graveyard to the south contains mainly upright early nineteenth-century markers.
