About Church of the Assumption, Tullyallen
Church of the Assumption, Tullyallen is a Roman Catholic parish church in Dungannon, Co. Armagh. It is part of the Armagh Archdiocese.
History
The first church at Tullyallen was built in 1768. In 1952 another church was built nearby to replace it, and was named the Church of the Assumption in that year.
Two other churches in the parish followed in the nineteenth century: the Church of St Joseph, Ackinduff, built in 1861, and the Church of St Patrick, Aughnagar, built in 1862.
