About St Patrick's Cathedral (Church of Ireland)
St Patrick's Church of Ireland Cathedral stands on the hill where St Patrick founded his first stone church in 445 AD. The current building dates mainly from the 19th century restoration by Lewis Cottingham. It is the seat of the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh.
