About St Patrick's Cathedral, Dundalk
St Patrick's Cathedral in Dundalk is a fine example of Gothic Revival architecture, modelled on King's College Chapel in Cambridge. Completed in 1847, its tower and spire were added later. It serves as the principal church of the Archdiocese of Armagh in the town.
