About Christ Church, Castlebar
Christ Church is the Church of Ireland church in Castlebar, part of the Aughaval Group of Parishes in the United Dioceses of Tuam, Limerick and Killaloe. Built between 1826 and 1829 on the site of an earlier 1739 church, it stands by The Green and featured in the 1798 Battle of Castlebar.
